Albany Commercial Photographer
Working as an Albany commercial photographer, I’m called upon to create image libraries for a company all over New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, the northeast and all over the country.
It is common that the creative brief that I initially receive seems like it’s a specific, one or two shot day. But upon further examination of what my client wants, it’s abundantly clear that they are looking for a large collection of images from the shortest possible amount of time, complete with liberal rights to use the photos in many different ways.
The Photo Library Day or Image Library Day was born.
This sort of shoot day involves me calling on my decades of experience in managing the logistics of a shoot like this as well as the experience in shooting action photos, business photos, executive portraits, photojournalism as people are working, product photos and a host of other widely variable image types during the day. (Often under adverse conditions)
The portrait leading this is a good example. This was made as the busy working farmer was walking from some heavy equipment over to his truck to run off to the next thing on his 1,000 item check list. Despite being friendly and having a great attitude, he didn’t have time to waste.
So in a few seconds, I recognized this location as a great spot for a photo, set up some quick (finessed) lighting and made this nice business portrait that looks as if the late day sunlight is sweeping in. I quite like the feel of this image and the emotion that it evokes with the warm light against the cool backdrop. In reality it was about 1 in the afternoon on a painfully hot summer day with crummy and harsh natural light.
Whether it’s agriculture photography or working as an industrial photographer or something else, let’s talk today about how I can help your business communicate. I help you strengthen your relationship with your customers and employees … and your industry at large.
